# Resetting 2FA Settings

If, for any reason, you need to reset the two-factor authentication (2FA) settings for your account, follow these steps:

* In the 2FA Settings section, click the 'Reset 2FA Settings' button.\ <br>

* The system will ask you to confirm this action. After confirmation, 2FA will be disabled, and you will be able to set up a new verification method.\ <br>

Please note that resetting 2FA may require you to reconfigure your mobile app, physical key, or SMS method, depending on the preferences you choose after the reset.
