# Link Tracking

Link tracking makes it possible to identify the recipients who clicked on the URLs in the email content. Not only are details regarding clicks collected, but also geolocation data and information about the type of operating system or browser used to open the links. This information can help you better understand your recipients' behavior and adjust your communication strategy accordingly.

* If you send emails in HTML format, select only the “Turned on” option to start tracking your clicks.
* If you send emails in text format, select the “Track text messages” option.

If you want EmailLabs to support the links in your messages being protected by an SSL certificate, turn on the “Use SSL” option and click the “Save” button.

**To use your tracking links, read our instructions on configuring Whitelabel (Individual link tracking):**

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>⚙️ <strong>Whitelabel</strong></td><td>Configure Individual Link Tracking</td><td><a href="/pages/K86KAgmPwOyhsrc1C6x0">MORE >></a></td></tr></tbody></table>

**⬅️ Detailed instructions for each panel section under the 'Functionalities' tab can be found in the drop-down menu on the left.**
