# Adding a New Group

To add a new contact group:

* Go to the **Contacts -> Groups List** tab.
* Click the **+ New group** icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
* Fill out the displayed form:
  * **Group name**: Enter a unique name that will help identify the group.
  * **Group description**: Optionally, add a detailed description to specify the purpose or nature of the group.

* Once the information is complete, click **Confirm**.
