# Static Group Segmentation
The S**tatic Group Segmentation** tool allows for advanced management of contact groups, including:
* Merging several groups into a new one.
* Removing contacts that belong to another group.
* Creating a new group based on filters or percentage splits.
### Starting Segmentation
1. Go to the **Contacts -> Groups List** tab.
2. Click the **Groups Segmentation** button in the top-right corner of the screen.
### Selecting a Group for Segmentation
* **New Group**: Enter a name for the newly created group.
* **Existing Group**: Select a group from the list to perform the operation.
### Choosing an Operation
Select one of the available operations:
* **Add contacts from another groups**: Combine contacts from selected groups into one.
* **Delete contacts from another groups**: Remove contacts present in another group from the selected group.
* **Add Contacts selected by filters**: Add to the group contacts meeting specific criteria (e.g., Push device, name, no email block).
* **Delete contacts selected by filters**: Remove from the group contacts meeting selected criteria.
* **Split the group by percentage**: Split the group into parts, assigning contacts proportionally to newly created groups. The group being divided must have at least 100 contacts.
### Finalizing Segmentation
* After configuring the parameters, click the **Segmentize** button.
* The operation status will be visible in the **Operations List** section.
* You will receive an email notification upon segmentation completion.
