# Senders Authorization

Senders Authorization is a key feature that enables verification of the domains used for sending via EmailLabs. This process is essential for protecting your account against unauthorized actions by third parties. With sender authorization, you can be confident that only verified domains send messages on your behalf, minimizing the risk of brand impersonation and phishing attacks.

For users getting started with the platform, the system provides a sandbox domain. It is unlocked upon completion of the onboarding process, which includes filling in your company details and account activation by the Support Team.

Messages sent from authorized domains are signed with a DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) key, adding an extra layer of security. DKIM signatures confirm that a message was genuinely sent by an authorized domain and has not been altered in transit. This enhances communication integrity and strengthens sender reputation with email service providers, ultimately leading to improved deliverability rates.
