# Creating a Password for the SMTP Server

1. Go to the ***SMTP Accounts > Active accounts.***
2. Select the subaccount for which you want to change the password and click on **“Change password”.**<br>

3. Enter the new password and repeat it.
4. You can also use the option to generate passwords.
5. Confirm the changes by clicking **“Save”**.
