# Choosing the Right GDPR Agreement

In the EmailLabs panel, two types of agreements are available, tailored to your role:

* **Data Processing Agreement:** Intended for users who act as data controllers for their subscriber database and use it for their own sending purposes.
* **Data Subprocessing Agreement:** Designed for users who send messages on behalf of their clients but are not data controllers of the contact database.
