# Base (BaseLinker)

## Integration of the Base system with SMTP EmailLabs <a href="#docs-internal-guid-5f59d4bc-7fff-e934-82bd-c1dac390289e" id="docs-internal-guid-5f59d4bc-7fff-e934-82bd-c1dac390289e"></a>

Base (formerly BaseLinker) is a multifunctional e-commerce management platform, bringing together various aspects of running an online store in one place. It enables the automation of many processes, such as order processing, warehousing, integration with various sales platforms (e.g. Allegro, eBay, Amazon), inventory management, generating shipping labels, and tracking shipments. Connecting the Base system to EmailLabs ensures not only security but also high delivery effectiveness of sent messages. Below you will find instructions for the integration process.

### Finding SMTP data in EmailLabs

The data needed for integration via SMTP can be found in the EmailLabs panel in the section: **Email API -> Settings -> SMTP Accounts**.

### Logging into Base&#x20;

Log in to your account in the Base system. Go to the **Orders -**> **E-mail/SMS templates** -> **Email accounts**.

&#x20;Click the **+ Add new account** button. Select the **Add an SMTP account** option from the drop-down menu.&#x20;

### **Entering SMTP data**

Fill out the form according to the following data:&#x20;

* **SMTP server address:** `smtp.emaillabs.net.pl`&#x20;
* **SMTP Login:** Enter your SMTP account name in EmailLabs in the format `1.accountname.smtp`.&#x20;
* **SMTP Password:** SMTP password set in the EmailLabs panel.
* **Connection security:** Select TLS or No encryption, depending on your preference.
* **Full e-mail address:** Email address to be used for sending emails. Display name: Full sender name of the message that will be displayed to the customer.

After entering all the data, click **Save** to save the configuration.&#x20;

### Testing the configuration&#x20;

Perform a test email send to ensure that the integration works correctly. In case of problems, check the send logs in the Base and EmailLabs panels to find the cause of the errors.

After successful configuration, the Base will use the EmailLabs infrastructure to send emails, which will ensure better deliverability and communication effectiveness.
