# Personalization

You can use personalization to tailor the message content to the recipient, e.g., by including their name.

* Personalization involves using placeholders that are automatically replaced with contact data at the time of sending.<br>

**Important!** To use personalization placeholders in the message, ensure that during the contact group import, you correctly mapped the file field (e.g., "First name") to the system field in the panel. Otherwise, the personalization data will not load correctly.
