# Sender

Choose the message sender from the available options:

* **Sender ID:** Alphanumeric headers available in the panel. By default, the SMS TEST header is active on the account. To add a new sender, click the + Add New Sender option, or go directly to **SMS** -> **Common Settings** -> **Sender IDs**. More information can be found here.
* **Numeric Sender ID:** Available after purchasing a number for two-way communication (2-way).
