# Adding a New Sender ID

* In the panel, navigate to: **SMS -**> **Common Settings** -> **SMS Headers**.
* Click the **+** button in the upper-right corner.
* Enter the Sender ID (e.g., company name) and click **Add**.

**Important:** Requirements for Sender ID Names:

* **Up to 14 characters:** If the name consists solely of digits.

* **Up to 11 characters:** For names containing text, digits, and/or spaces.

* **Prohibited names:** Misleading names (e.g., POLICE) are not allowed.

* If you are using a custom name (e.g., company name), it must be verified by the Customer Service Office (CSO). After adding the header, you will receive an email confirming that the name is pending approval. **The process takes a maximum of one business day.**

* The current activation status can be viewed on the Sender ID list.

* Once approved, you will receive an email, and the status will update to **Approved** or **Rejected.**
