List-Unsubscribe

The next step in tightening the requirements from Google and Yahoo is for senders to include the List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post (one-click unsubscribe) headers in all bulk emails. To comply with these requirements, our service has implemented the ability to assign these headers to email messages sent from both dedicated and shared marketing servers. Users can manage these settings in the panel under:

SMTP Accounts > Settings > Unsubscribe > List-Unsubscribe

The headers in the email message will then appear as follows:

List-Unsubscribe:

<mailto:[e-mail]?subject=unsubscribe>

<https://www.unsubURLdomena.pl/unsubscribe.html?opaque-identifier=unique-id>

List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-Click

This will enable a direct "unsubscribe" option to appear in the recipient's inbox:

Both providers will require that the unsubscribe option be based on a URL that supports one-click unsubscribe functionality. We have implemented two options that are respected by other email providers:

1. URL (also known as HTTP or unsubscribe via a web page)

   

2. Mailto (unsubscribe via email address)

   

Using our list-unsubscribe option, the recipient's address will be added to the Emaillabs blacklist with an 'unsubscribe' status. This will block further attempts to deliver messages to the subscriber at the server level. Such emails will be logged with a 'dropped' status.

If you already have your own list-unsubscribe link, it will not be overwritten by our header. We will ensure that you also have the list-unsubscribe-post header.
