What is an email server infrastracture, and why do I need it?
Email server infrastracture comprises a set of resources and technologies that enable the seure and efficient delivery of large volumes of email messages. It is essential for companies that regulary communicate with the large customer base to ensure high deliverability and optimal performance of their email campaings. Do I need a service like EmailLabs for my e-commerce platform that generates emails?
In most e-commerce systems, emails are sent from a shared IP. This can negatively impact both the speed and deliverability of emails.
Users of VPS (Virtual Private Server) systems may also encounter issues with deliverability and sending speed, as traditional SMTP might struggle with high email volumes. By integrating with EmailLabs, emails are sent from a professional server optimized for maximum speed and effective delivery.
Additionally, users gain access to an analytics panel, allowing them to monitor what happens with the emails sent from their e-commerce platform. The integration process takes just 5 minutes, and the way emails are generated and the use of the e-commerce platform remains unchanged.
I have multiple applications that I would like to integrate with EmailLabs. Is this possible?
Yes, EmailLabs can be integrated with any number of applications generating email messages. There is no need to create separate accounts or purchase separate packages for each application. However, we recommend separating transactional traffic from marketing traffic.
Is there an option to test the service for free?
We do offer a trial period, but the conditions for it need to be agreed upon with the Sales Department. You can send your inquiries to sales@emaillabs.io.
What is the purchase procedure?
Initially, every account created in EmailLabs starts with the free Startup package. If your sending volume exceeds the daily limit, you need to contact a Business Manager at sales@emaillabs.io.
After receiving your inquiry, a customer service representative will contact you to gather the necessary information and determine your needs. Then, a paid account will be activated, along with additional features.
More information about the packages can be found in our pricing list.
I created an account with EmailLabs and want to pay for the service so I can send emails. Where in the panel can I do this?
The EmailLabs service is initially activated for free. Payment is only required when you exceed the allowed amount of sent emails or when you purchase additional functionalities. However, payments cannot be made directly from the panel; instead, they are based on invoices sent to your provided email address. Invoices are generated by our Accounting Department by the 10th of each month. The free Startup Package offers 9,000 emails with a daily limit of 300.
Check the pricing list for more details.
I just created an account with EmailLabs, but it is not active yet. When will it be activated?
After creating an account with EmailLabs, you need to fill in the company information for the account registration. Once all the necessary information is provided, a phone verification of the account is conducted by the Sales Department.
The verification should occur within 48 hours of creating the account. Full activation means the account will have the Startup package, which includes a daily sending limit of up to 300 emails. For more detailed information, please refer to the full plan comparison.
Can I send both marketing and transactional emails?
Yes, you can send both types of emails using EmailLabs. However, we recommend separating marketing and transactional traffic. This configuration helps avoid delays in transactional messages when sending newsletters. You can achieve this by setting up two separate SMTP accounts. For this type of setup, please contact our Sales Department at sales@emaillabs.io.
Can I use my main domain for sending emails via EmailLabs?
EmailLabs is an external infrastructure (SMTP) that integrates with your sending system, not directly with your domain. Once integrated with your system, you can set any domain from which to send emails. There is no need to separately integrate the domain with EmailLabs.
Do I need a dedicated IP?
A dedicated IP allows you to manage your sender reputation independently, without worrying about the impact of other users on your deliverability. With a dedicated IP, you can also take advantage of additional features such as custom DKIM and DMARC..
We recommend all users consider using a dedicated IP.
Can I use one dedicated IP for sending emails from multiple domains?
Regardless of the type of server you choose (shared or dedicated), with EmailLabs, you can send emails from any number of domains. However, keep in mind that all sending statistics will be combined in the panel and will not be separated by domain.
Remember that each domain should be authorized in the EmailLabs panel before you start sending emails. Check how to authorize the From domain using the free configurator:
Is a dedicated IP assigned to an SMTP account, and can I connect multiple sending domains, or just one?
You can connect multiple sending systems to our server, and therefore, you can direct messages from any number of domains. A single server can handle sending from multiple domains.
However, keep in mind that in the panel, all sending statistics will be combined, meaning the data will not be separated by domain.
Additionally, don’t forget to authorize your domain in the sender authentication section. You can find more information about this process here: From Domain Authorization - Configurator
Which integration to choose - SMTP or API?
The choice depends on your needs, knowledge, and technical capabilities. If you’re not a developer, it’s advisable to use the SMTP connection. This type of integration is a much quicker way to connect with EmailLabs and can be done without extensive programming knowledge. It involves replacing the SMTP settings for outgoing messages in your sending system. By choosing this option, you can only use the functionalities available in the EmailLabs panel.
On the other hand, the API integration is more advanced and primarily targeted at developers. It requires programming knowledge, making it more challenging, but it offers a broader range of functionalities. For example, you can retrieve detailed message logs or statistical data from the panel.
What are the benefits of using cloud SMTP?
Cloud SMTP scales to your needs. If the number of emails you send increases, you don’t need to set up additional servers—the infrastructure will adapt to your requirements. You save time and money—you don’t incur the costs of building and maintaining infrastructure, and you don’t need to hire specialists to monitor email traffic. You gain confidence that your data is secure—the EmailLabs infrastructure is located in a modern Data Center that meets all security requirements for data storage and processing.
Will EmailLabs automatically send data to my system in case of an API integration?
No, with API integration, EmailLabs will only send data to an external system after requesting EmailLabs. This process can be fully automated using Event API.
Does EmailLabs support SPF, DKIM and DMARC protocols?
Yes, EmailLabs fully supports SPF, DKIM and DMARC. These protocols help authenticate your emails and improve their deliverability by minimizing the risk of your messages being marked as SPAM in recipients' inboxes.
Check out our Sender Authorization feature to learn how to secure your domain.
How to configure SPF after integrating with EmailLabs?
In EmailLabs, SPF is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. We recommend adding the appropriate record to the TXT record in your DNS.
Note! To correctly configure SPF, add the following entry to the TXT record in your DNS:
include:_spf.emaillabs.net.pl
Error when trying to connect: “Connection could not be established with host smtp.emaillabs.net.pl” port: 587/25.
If you receive the error “Connection could not be established with host smtp.emaillabs.net.pl port: 587” when attempting to connect to the EmailLabs server, you should first ensure that you have correctly entered the login, password, and hostname.
If you are confident that all details are correct, your hosting provider may be blocking the connection to an external SMTP server. In this case, you should contact your hosting provider and request that they allow such connections.
Error message: “Operation failed. Server response: 5.7.1 : Relay access denied.”
If you encounter the error message “Operation failed. Server response: 5.7.1 : Relay access denied” when trying to connect to the EmailLabs server, it is most likely due to incorrect login credentials. Check for typos or extra spaces in the username or password fields.
Do you offer technical support for EmailLabs users?
Yes, we offer technical support for all our customers. If you have a question, please email support@emaillabs.io. For a paid plan, you can also use the chat feature for communication. Our experts are available Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
