# DKIM

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an authentication method to secure sent messages from fraud. Adding a digital signature to your e-mail headers, DKIM allows your recipients to verify that the message came from an authentic sender and wasn’t modified during delivery.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important!**

Ensure your message content is correctly **encoded in base64 format or quoted-printable**. Avoid using UTF-8 and 7-bit encoding, as it may make reading the DKIM key more difficult and result in recipients getting information that your emails lack proper authentications.
{% endhint %}

**⬅️ Detailed information about individual DKIM and sender authorization can be found in the drop-down menu on the left.**
