Authorizing the Domain Hosted by GoDaddy

  1. Log in to the customer panel on GoDaddy

  2. Select the 'Domains' tab from the 'My Account' dropdown menu.

  3. Choose the domain you want to authenticate to access the domain settings page

  4. From the left-hand menu, go to the 'DNS' tab, where you'll find all your existing records

  5. Click on the 'Add New Record' button.

  6. From the 'Type' dropdown menu, choose CNAME.

  7. In the 'Name' field, enter the domain with the character string selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com

  8. In the 'Value' field, enter the corresponding value generated in the EmailLabs panel.

  9. Click 'Save' to update the information

  10. Wait for the DNS system to approve the changes. Depending on DNS record propagation, this may take a few minutes or up to 24 hours.

  11. Wait for the changes to be approved by the DNS system. Depending on the system’s TTL, it may take a few minutes or hours.

  12. You can check the DKIM configuration status by clicking the “Check” button in the EmailLabs panel. If it changes to "accepted", the authorization was correctly completed.
