Hardbounce

This signals that your email was not delivered because of the recipient’s address being inactive, nonexistent or incorrect, the spelling errors in the domain name, or the recipient blocking message receiving. All hardbounces should be deleted from your mailing list as soon as possible. Not only are they of no value but the more hardbounces, the worse your IP and domain’s reputation, negatively impacting your email deliverability.

In EmailLabs, messages that received a Hardbounce are automatically added to the internal Blacklist, and all subsequent attempts to send a new message to these addresses are blocked. (see: dropped status).

⬅️ Detailed information on each status can be found in the drop-down menu on the left.
