Integration Steps

  1. Sign into your Joomla! dashboard.

  2. Go to "System" in the top section of the clientโ€™s panel and then select "Global configuration."

  3. Select the โ€žServerโ€ tab in the side menu.

  4. Proceed to fill in the following fields in the โ€œMail Settingsโ€ section:

    • Send mail: select โ€žYesโ€.

    • Disable Mass Mail: select โ€žNoโ€.

    • From Email: enter the "from" email address that will be used to send your messages.

    • From Name: enter your senderโ€™s name.

    • Reply to Email: choose the email address to which your clients can respond.

    • Reply to Name: choose the name shown in the โ€˜Reply-toโ€™ field.

    • Mailer: select "SMTP".

    • SMTP host: enter the SMTP host address provided by EmailLabs.

    • SMTP port: enter one of the suggested SMTP ports โ€“ 587 or 465.

    • SMTP Security: select "TLS" with port 587 or "SSL" with port 465.

    • SMTP Authentication: select โ€žYesโ€.

    • SMTP Username: enter your SMTP account name in this particular format: 1.youraccountname.smtp

    • SMTP Password: use the password you set in the SMTP accounts tab > Active accounts > Actions > Change password.

    • Click the โ€˜Saveโ€™ button in the left top corner of the page to approve the new settings.

  5. After saving the integration settings, try sending a test message to ensure the integration works correctly.
